About Me


My name is Ethan (MBACP, MSc, BSc). I am a qualified pluralistic therapist. Pluralistic therapy is a person-centred perspective whereby the therapy aims to meet the individual needs of any client. This may be through exploring emotions, problem solving, using cognitive behavioural models etc. (see below for a range of therapeutic models and techniques).


My background is in health and social care, I have worked in many settings supporting individuals of all ages, experiencing various challenges in their lives. Through my experiences, I came to the understanding that with the right support, a person can live life and find happiness whatever their situation.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work under their ethical framework. I have a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I believe positive development can only be seen by providing people with the space and the therapeutic relationship for them to explore all aspects of their life; the good, bad, scary or whatever parts are important to them.

In listening to individuals and providing unconditional acceptance and empathy, trust can be built, something incredibly important to me. I work from a pluralistic perspective. This means I will adapt therapy to suite the individual. Whether you require a listener to reflect and work through your emotions, practical intervention or both, you are your own therapist, I will supply the tools and space for you to support yourself.
