Autism: What it is and what it means
This handout provides some key information on the unique cognitive style which is autism. It includes information on what autism is, some terminology and how you can support yourself or an autistic individual.
In many therapy sessions you may be asked to gather information on your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. this is done to best understand what will work for you. You can find here a link to an ABC chart to fill in and bring to your first session if you like. It is designed as a Word document, so can be printed and hand written or typed onto.
